JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be making urgent bridge joint expansion repairs beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 7, until approximately 5 p.m. along Interstate 435 over the Blue River. Crews will closing the following areas during this time. Motorists MUST seek alternate routes during this time.
- Crews will begin to reduce the lanes of westbound I-470 at approximately Blue Ridge Blvd.
- Crews will close the ramp from westbound I-470 to westbound I-435. All westbound I-470 traffic will be forced to go either northbound on I-435 or southbound on I-49.
- Crews will also close the ramp from northbound I-49 to westbound I-435.
- Crews will close the left three lanes of westbound I-435 from approximately Grandview Road to 104th Street.
This work is expected to cause additional traffic delays throughout the area of Three Trails Crossing/the Grandview Triangle. All work is weather permitting.
