JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be making pavement repairs along various portions of Interstate 70 and I-435 beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 6. This work will require various ramp and lane closures in the area. Motorists will need to plan ahead and may be required to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.
- Tuesday, Sept. 6
- Crews will close one lane of southbound I-435 at I-70 beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, until 7 a.m. the following morning.
- Crews will close the right most lane of eastbound I-70 leading to the exit ramp to northbound I-435 beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, until 5 a.m. the following morning. During this time, the exit ramp (exit 8B) to northbound I-435 will be closed as well.
- Wednesday, Sept. 7
- Crews will close one lane of the ramp from westbound I-70 to northbound I-435 beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Thursday, Sept. 8
- Crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-70 to westbound I-470 beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Crews will close one lane of westbound I-70 just east of the MO Route 291 on ramp beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Friday, Sept. 9
- Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-435 to Bannister Rd. beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, until 5 a.m. the morning.
