JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be closing the two right lanes of westbound Interstate 435 from approximately Grandview Road to 104th Street beginning at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31. This closure is for bridge expansion joint repairs over the Blue River. This work is expected to cause traffic delays on westbound I-435, the southbound U.S. 71 ramp to westbound I-435, the northbound I-49 ramp to westbound I-435, and westbound I-470 ramp to westbound I-435. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, leave early, and if possible find an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
