Bridge joint repairs will require lane closures along portion of westbound I-435 on Aug. 31

Motorists should expect traffic delays

 

JACKSON COUNTY Crews will be closing the two right lanes of westbound Interstate 435 from approximately Grandview Road to 104th Street beginning at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31.  This closure is for bridge expansion joint repairs over the Blue River. This work is expected to cause traffic delays on westbound I-435, the southbound U.S. 71 ramp to westbound I-435, the northbound I-49 ramp to westbound I-435, and westbound I-470 ramp to westbound I-435. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, leave early, and if possible find an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
