The Missouri Department of Transportation has reduced northbound U.S. Route 169 under NW Barry Road to one lane to evaluate the bridge after it was hit last night and to plan for repairs. This closure will be long term. MoDOT will share any updates on this closure. NW Barry Rd. over U.S. Route 169 currently also has a lane reduction. Motorists should expect delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
