Lane and ramp closures scheduled near MO Route 291 and 39th Street on Aug. 22

 

JACKSON COUNTY – MoDOT will be making pavement repairs around MO Route 291 and 39th Street on Monday, Aug. 22, that will require the following closures. Motorists may need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will CLOSE the right most lane of westbound 39th Street from the northbound MO Route 291 off ramp to the southbound MO Route 291 on ramp beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
  • Crews will CLOSE the ramp from 39th Street to northbound MO Route 291 beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
