SIKESTON—Southbound Interstate 55 in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform concrete replacement.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 7.0 to mile marker 9.6, near Steele, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Aug. 23 through Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
