Rescheduled: Caldwell County Route 13 resurfacing project to begin Monday

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – After being postponed due to material shortage, the Caldwell County Route 13 resurfacing project has been rescheduled and is expected to begin Monday, Aug. 22. Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will resurface Route 13 and add shoulders from Route HH in Kingston to the Ray County line.

During construction, motorists will be directed through the one-lane work zone by flaggers. Crews will be present during daylight hours. All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

Two future resurfacing projects are planned for other segments of Route 13 as part of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.  For more information visit: https://www.modot.org/statewide-transportation-improvement-program-stip
