Atchison County Route 111 to open this evening after bridge project

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A bridge rehabilitation project on the Atchison County Route 111 overpass over Interstate 29, just south of Rock Port at Exit 107, will reopen to all traffic at approximately 6 p.m. this evening. Contractors from Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, closed Route 111 to all traffic at the bridge on Friday, May 20, 2022, and after finishing a few items this afternoon, will open Route 111 this evening, Aug. 18, 2022, at approximately 6 p.m.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
