ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Turkey Creek Bridge, located on Carroll County Route E between Route D and Route PP, is now open after a bridge replacement project. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Mera Excavating, LLC to complete the project.
Crews closed Route E to all traffic at the bridge on May 4, 2022, and were able to reopen to roadway this afternoon, Wednesday, Aug. 17.
The Turkey Creek Bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
