When: 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday, August 17
Where: Missouri Route 248 between Stone County Route PP and Missouri Route 176 west of Galena
What: MoDOT crews replacing collapsed pipe underneath the road
Traffic Impacts:
- All Route 248 lanes CLOSED where crews are working
- Drivers will be able to access driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- No signed detours planned
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
