Lane and ramp closures scheduled for MO Route 291 near 39th Street beginning Aug. 15

 

JACKSON COUNTIES – MoDOT will be making pavement repairs along various roadways in Jackson County. This work will require lane and ramp closures beginning on Monday evening, Aug. 15. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and seek alternate routes if necessary. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will CLOSE the off ramp from northbound MO Route 291 to 39th Street, as well as the right most lane of 39th Street from approximately the northbound MO Route 291 off ramp to the southbound MO Route 291 off ramp. This work will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
  • Crews will CLOSE the on ramp 39th Street to northbound MO Route 291 beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
