CASS COUNTY – Crews have rescheduled some pavement repairs along southbound MO Route 291 at Waters Rd. This work will require the closure of one lane in the area from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily on both Monday, Aug. 15, and Tuesday, Aug. 16 (previously this was scheduled for Aug. 16-18). This will be a flagging operation. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes if necessary. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
