ST. JOSEPH, Mo – A project to resurface more than 14 miles of Carroll County U.S. Route 24, east of Carrollton, has been delayed. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. to complete the resurfacing of U.S. Route 24 from U.S. Route 65 in Carrollton to 1.5 miles east of Route 41, near DeWitt.
The contractor has not announced a revised schedule of work, which was initially planned to begin Monday, Aug. 8. When a new planned start date has been set, MoDOT will share the information through a news release, on social media, and online on MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map at traveler.modot.org.
All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
