Daviess County northbound I-35 ramp to U.S. Route 69 to close tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Guardrail work as part of the ongoing Interstate 35 resurfacing project is scheduled to close the northbound I-35 ramp to U.S. Route 69 (Exit 68) tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 2, in Daviess County. The Missouri Department of Transportation contracted with Herzog Contracting Corp. to complete the project, which extends from U.S. Route 69 in Daviess County near mile marker 68.6 to just north of Exit 52 in Cameron.

The ramp will close between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., as needed, in order to complete the guardrail work.  During the short-term closure, motorists should seek an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by always buckling up, keeping your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones. Know before you go and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.
