Lane and shoulder closure scheduled for portion of southbound I-35 July 27-28

JACKSON COUNTY MoDOT will CLOSE the left lane and shoulder of southbound Interstate 35 from approximately the westbound I-70 off ramp to the 12th Street off ramp beginning at approximately 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, until approximately 4 p.m. This closure is for sign footing construction operations. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and/or consider alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing.
