UPDATE: Various lane and ramp closures scheduled at I-70 and I-435 TONIGHT, July 15 and July 16

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be closing the following lanes and/or ramps beginning at 7:00 p.m. TONIGHT, Friday, July 15, until approximately 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 16. These closures will then take place again on Saturday, July 16 from 7:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. These closures are for paving work. This is a continuation of the work from Thursday, July 14. Motorists will need to find alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will be CLOSING two lanes of southbound Interstate 435 over I-70.
  • Crews will be CLOSING the ramp from westbound I-70 to southbound I-435.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
