SCHEDULE CHANGE: Overnight lane closures on MO 45 from I-29 to N. Cosby St. scheduled for July 24-25

PLATTE COUNTY – Crews will repair pavement on Missouri Route 45 from approximately Interstate 29 to North Cosby Street. Repairs will take place Sunday, July 24 around 7 p.m. continue overnight and end around 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25. Work was originally scheduled for July 17-18. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will close one northbound lane to traffic on MO 45. Once repairs are complete in the northbound lane, two southbound lanes on MO 45 will be closed to traffic. Motorists should expect delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
