Urgent bridge joint repairs will require lane closures along portion of eastbound I-70 this weekend

 

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be closing the right most lane as well as the auxiliary lane of eastbound Interstate 70 along the Manchester Bridge beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 15, until approximately 5 a.m. on Monday July 18. This work is for urgent bridge expansion joint repairs. Two lanes will remain open in the area but motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for extra time. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
