ROCHEPORT – The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is inviting the public to a series of monthly talks to hear firsthand updates on the progress of the Lance Corporal Leon Deraps Interstate 70 Missouri River (Rocheport) Bridge. Saturday Superintendent Talks will feature crews speaking on highlighted segments of work taking place and why that work is necessary.
July’s talk will be held Saturday, July 16 at 9 a.m. at the Missouri Department of Conservation Taylor’s Landing Access.
“We’re excited to offer the opportunity. People can hear directly from the team that is doing the work on the new bridges,” says Project Director Brandi Baldwin. “The building progress is right on schedule and with the progress you can see from the road, this provides more details on what is happening behind the scenes as well.”
These talks will be held every third Saturday of the upcoming months. For future locations or other details about the Rocheport Bridge, visit www.modot.org/RocheportBridge.
