Where: Range Line Road (Business Loop 49)/Kansas City Southern Railroad bridge north of 32nd Street in Joplin
When: Closure of bridge DELAYED. Originally scheduled for Monday, July 18. New closure date to be announced.
What: Planned closure of Range Line Road (Business Loop 49) bridge over Kansas City Southern Railroad DELAYED due to construction scheduling issues. Bridge was scheduled to close to allow contractor crews to demolish current bridge to replace with new wider, higher, shorter bridge.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
