Andrew County Route M resurfacing project to begin tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A resurfacing project on Andrew County Route M is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Friday, July 1. Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will resurface Route M from Route 48 to U.S. Route 169 near Union Star.

Crews will start tomorrow by milling down the current roadway surface and will begin resurfacing within the next two weeks. Patches will be placed at roadway transitions during this time to reduce drop-offs. During construction, motorists will be directed through the one-lane work zone by flaggers. Crews will be present during daylight hours.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
