Traffic Alert: Lane closures scheduled for Highway 45 and Interstate 29 next week

 

PLATTE COUNTY –Crews will be making pavement repairs along a variety of routes in Jackson County next week beginning on Sunday, June 26. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will close two lanes of northbound and southbound Highway 45 from Interstate 29 to N. Crosby St. beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 26 to 5 a.m. Monday, June 27. Traffic will be shifted to the center turn lanes.

  • Crews will also close Interstate 29 southbound lanes from mile marker 17.4 to mile marker 16.8 from 8 p.m. Monday, June 27 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 28. Traffic will be shifted to the center turn lanes.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
