Where: Chestnut Expressway (Loop 44) OPEN to traffic in west Springfield
When: 1 p.m., Friday, June 17
What: The project replaced the pavement on Chestnut Expressway (Loop 44) between I-44 and Broadview Place and installed new guardrail and road signs along the project in west Springfield. This project also includes pavement improvements on I-44 at Missouri Route 744 (Mulroy Road) and bridge rehabilitation on Missouri Route 744 (Mulroy Road) over I-44 in northeast Springfield beginning the week of July 11.
