Traffic Alert: various ramp and lane closures scheduled for pavement repairs June 13-18

CLAY/JACKSON COUNTIES – Motorists should be on alert for various ramp and lane closures in both Clay and Jackson counties as the Missouri Department of Transportation works on pavement repairs beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, June 13. Motorists should expect delays in the areas. All work is weather permitting.

The impacts include the following:

  • 7 p.m. June 13 – 5 a.m. June 14 lane closure on I-35 SB at the Pleasant Valley Exit in Clay County
  • 7 p.m. June 15 – 5 a.m. June 16 lane closure on I-435 NB just before 48th St in Clay County
  • 7 p.m. June 17 – 6 a.m. June 8 ramp closure on I-435 NB to Stadium Dr in Jackson County

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing.
