SIKESTON—Eastbound U.S. 60 in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. The project includes pavement repairs from Old Highway 60 to County Road 627, near Birch Tree, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work take place Wednesday, June 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Improvements will be completed in various locations along U.S. 60. Motorists should anticipate a lane reduction within each work zone.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
