St. Louis Work Zones for June 2 - 8

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use St. Louis Avenue to cross over I-70 will need to consider alternate routes as MoDOT will close the bridge over the interstate for 10 days, starting June 3.

Crews will close the bridge over the interstate, starting at 6 p.m. Friday, June 3, so crews can make repairs to the roadway approaching the bridge and the bridge driving surface. The bridge will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, June 13.

Drivers heading out of the city of St. Louis on Interstate 70 this weekend may want to consider alternate routes or allow extra time as the department closes the westbound interstate.         

This is the second closure needed at westbound I-70 between Carrie and West Florissant Avenue to complete girder repairs to the Taylor Avenue bridge over the interstate, starting at 8 p.m. Friday, June 3, weather permitting. All lanes and ramps will be reopened to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday, June 6.

Drivers on I-44 near Big Bend should be aware that crews will close all but one lane of eastbound and westbound I-44 at the Big Bend Bridge in Kirkwood, starting at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, to shift barrier wall.  The interstate lane will be routed over the Big Bend ramps until crews finish shifting the wall.  When lanes reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, one lane will still be closed, but the remaining three lanes will be shifted.

• I-55, St. Louis City, left two southbound lanes closed from Gravois to Loughborough through December 2022.
• I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman ramp and the ramp from Cherokee to southbound I-55 closed through December 2022.
• I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from northbound orthbound exit ramps to 3200 Broadway and Arsenal will be closed through December 2022.
• I-55, St. Louis City, northbound two left lanes closed from Carondelet to Arsenal through December 2022.
• I-64, St. Louis City, one lane eastbound and westbound near Jefferson closed through mid-2022.
• I-64, St. Louis City, one lane westbound at the entrance ramp east of Jefferson to Forest Park Avenue closed through mid-2022.

• I-270, St. Louis County, the westbound lane on Pershall between Hanley/Graham and New Florissant is closed. When the roadway reopens in November 2022, it will be converted to one-way eastbound.
• I-270, St. Louis County, starting at 7 a.m., the westbound lane on Pershall Road between West Florissant and New Halls Ferry will be closed. When the roadway reopens in late 2022, it will be converted to one-way eastbound.
• I-270, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. Monday through June 13, the ramp from eastbound to Lindbergh will be closed.
• Route 50, St. Louis County, the ramp from Lindbergh to Route 255 is closed through lat June.
• Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound ramp to westbound I-270 closed till mid-2022.

• Route 61/67, Jefferson County, one northbound and southbound lane closed from north of Richardson Rd. to Telegraph.
• Route 47, Franklin County, northbound and southbound will be reduced to one lane over Interstate 44 through September. In addition the ramp to westbound I-44 will be closed, and the ramps from westbound and eastbound I-44 to Route 47, and the ramp from Route 47 to eastbound I-44 will be closed to left-turning traffic through September.
