Right lane of EB I-70 will be closed from Hwy 40 to Manchester Trafficway at 9 p.m. tonight

JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the right lane of Interstate 70 from Highway 40 to Manchester Trafficway beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, May 13 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 for urgent repairs.

Motorists should be prepared to slow down.

All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
