Where: Haseltine Road CLOSED to one lane south of Chestnut Expressway (Loop 44) in Springfield
When: 7 p.m. Sunday, May 15 until 6 a.m. Friday, May 20
What: Contractor to replace the approach of Haseltine Road. This is part of the pavement replacement project on Chestnut Expressway (Loop 44) between I-44 and Broadview Place in west Springfield. For more information about this project go to https://www.modot.org/chestnut-expressway-rebuild.
Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic will be allowed to enter Haseltine Road from Chestnut Expressway, but will not be able to exit Haseltine Road onto Chestnut Expressway
- Signed Detour: Haseltine Road, Mt. Vernon Street, Miller Avenue
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
