Northbound Interstate 55 Cape Girardeau County Reduced for Approach Repairs

Sikeston― Northbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform approach repairs.   

This section of roadway is located between Mile Marker 98 and Mile Marker 99.5 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. 

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 17 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily.  

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
