MoDOT to close lanes on I-270 next week to reset signs

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use northbound I-270 overnight should be aware of two closures to replace signs over the interstate scheduled for next week.

Crews will close two lanes on northbound I-270 just south of I-44, starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 10.  At 11:30 p.m., crews will completely close all lanes of northbound I-270 for about 15 minutes to set the signs over the interstate.

Drivers will be able to exit to I-44. All lanes should reopen by 4 a.m.

In addition, crews will close two lanes on northbound I-270 south of Route 370 at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 11. Crews will also close the ramp from St. Charles Rock Road to northbound I-270 at 9 p.m. At 11:30 p.m., crews will completely close all lanes of northbound I-270 for about 15 minutes to set the signs over the interstate.

Drivers will be able to exit to Route 370.  All lanes should reopen by 4 a.m.
