Interstate overpass on Faraon Street to narrow to one lane

ST. JOSEPH, Mo – The Faraon Street bridge over Interstate 29 in St. Joseph will narrow to one lane beginning tomorrow, May 4, for a rehabilitation project. Crews from PCi Roads, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close one lane of Faraon Street over I-29 to replace bridge joints. The work is expected to continue through May 17.

During the project, flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by always buckling up, keeping your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones. Know before you go and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.
