ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – As part of a bridge rehabilitation project along Interstate 229, the ramp from eastbound U.S. Route 36 to southbound I-229 will close next week. Crews from PCi Roads, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close the ramp to all traffic on Thursday, May 5. It will remain closed around-the-clock through May 17.

During the closure motorists will be directed to continue east on U.S. Route 36 to 22nd Street where they will loop around and travel west to access the ramp to southbound I-229.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
