Northbound I-49 ramp to 140th St. scheduled to CLOSE on May 2

 

JACKSON COUNTY As part of the City of Grandview’s I-49 Outer Road Conversion Project, crews will CLOSE the existing northbound Interstate 49 ramp to 140th Street beginning on Monday, May 2. The new ramp, which will lead into the new roundabout being built on the East Outer Rd., is not scheduled to open until approximately mid-July 2022. There will be no signed detour and motorists will need to find alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
