ROLLA – Motorists in Rolla are advised to watch for signal improvement work taking place on U.S. Route 63 at Fort Wyman Road, near Walmart, next week.
Meyer Electric, a contractor for MoDOT will be completing the work.
While the work takes place, the signal will flash red in all directions, creating a four-way stop at the intersection. Traffic from Fort Wyman Road and the Walmart entrance will be limited to right hand turns onto Route 63. These traffic changes will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
Work will start on Monday, April 25 and is expected to be complete by Friday, April 29. MoDOT says motorists should slow down in the area, obey all traffic signs, and watch for crews on the road.
This work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
