CASS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic change as part of an intersection improvement project on 7 Highway in Cass County. All work is weather dependent.
Crews will close the entire intersection of 7 Highway at 155th St/County Line Rd., beginning at 10:00 p.m., Friday, April 22 and continuing until 5:00 a.m., Monday. April 25 for culvert replacement work.
Motorists wishing to travel northbound on 7 Highway will detour east on Route VV, then north on Route E, then west on 150 Highway.
Motorist wishing to travel southbound on 7 Highway will detour east on 150 Highway, then south on Route E, then west on Route VV.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
