Bridge Rehabilitations on I-44 to Include Lane Closure

ST. ROBERT – Contractors working for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will begin a series of bridge rehabilitations along Interstate 44 near St. Robert on Monday, April 18.

The first phase of the project will be on the eastbound bridge over Trophy Lane in St. Robert. This work will result in 24-hour lane closures for up to sixty (60) days. In June, similar work will take place on the westbound bridge.

The final phase of the project will be improvements to the eastbound bridge over Roubidoux Creek, which is tentatively scheduled to begin in August.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays in the work area and plan alternate routes when possible. MoDOT appreciates the patience of motorists and encourages all drivers to stay focused on the road, obey all traffic signs, and watch for workers on the road.
