Worth County U.S. Route 169 narrowed for bridge maintenance

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation closed the northbound lane of U.S. Route 169 today at the Middle Fork Grand River Bridge, 2 miles south of Grant City, for bridge maintenance. Temporary traffic signals will be in place between 170th Road and 190th Road to guide motorists through the around-the-clock work zone. Crews plan to reopen the closed lane and remove the traffic signals by 5 p.m. Friday, April 15. However, if necessary, the signals and lane closure could remain in place over the weekend.

This work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
