TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 97/Horse Creek Bridge CLOSED April 18 for Bridge Deck Repair in Cedar Co.

Where: Missouri Route 97/Horse Creek Bridge north of Jericho Springs in Cedar County

When: 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, April 18

What: MoDOT crews working to repair bridge deck/driving surface over Horse Creek

Traffic Impacts:

  • Both lanes of Route 97 CLOSED at either end of the bridge
  • Drivers will have access to entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the bridge
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate route
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
