Route 54/MNA Railroad Bridge in Nevada OPEN to Traffic

 

Where: U.S. Route 54 bridge over Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad in Nevada

When: 8:45 a.m., Thursday, April 7

What: Route 54 bridge OPEN to traffic

Details: This bridge was closed in September 2021 while contractor crews removed the bridge deck/driving surface and replaced it with a new surface. The contractor also installed new barrier walls, sidewalks, lighting, fences and guardrails at the ends of the bridge. This bridge was included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

  • Prime contractor: Radmacher Brothers Excavation, Pleasant Hill
  • Total project cost: $4 million
