Pavement Repair to Impact Travel on Route 50

TIPTON – In order to create a smoother driving surface, Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews will be making pavement repairs on U.S. Route 50 near Tipton.

Crews will close one lane of Route 50 between Route 5 and Snorgrass Road Wednesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 7. The work is scheduled to take place from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Traffic will be guided through the work zone by flaggers.

This work is weather permitting and could be delayed. Drivers are encouraged to slow down through the work zones, obey all traffic signs and give crews on the road plenty of room. Some delays are possible and MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers while the work take place.
