ST.LOUIS - Drivers who reside, commute or work regularly on New Florissant (Route N) in North St. Louis County will not want to miss the upcoming public meeting next Tuesday, April 5. The public meeting will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. at Walnut Grove Elementary School located at 1248 N. Florissant Road, St. Louis, MO 63135.
The proposed project will include pavement improvements, new pavement markings, upgraded sidewalks and some upgraded signals on Route N from Pershall Road to south of January-Wabash Park.
At the public meeting, attendees will receive information about the project to improve Route N. MoDOT officials will be present to answer questions and discuss the project that is scheduled to begin in 2024. MoDOT engineers and construction consultants will share information about the project, schedule, and expected impacts to residents and commuters for the project. This meeting will allow the public to get information about the project and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or in written comments, on impacts due to the construction of this project.
No formal presentations will be made during the open house-style meeting. The public may stop by at any time during the advertised hours and speak with MoDOT and consultant staff about the project.
In addition, a virtual public meeting for this project will be available online from April 6 to April 13 at New Florissant Road (Route N) Improvement Project | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org).
