CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic change as part of pavement repair in Clay County. All work is weather dependent.
Crews will intermittently close one lane of northbound or southbound 69 Highway between Route 92 to the Clinton County Line, beginning at 6:00pm until 6:00am, nightly, starting Monday, April 4 and continuing until Wednesday, June 1.
Crews will utilize a flagging operation and plot car to help motorists safely maneuver through the work zone.
**Note: Only one lane of northbound or southbound 69 Highway will be closed at a time.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
