CLAY COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, The Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled work and will make the following changes as part of pavement repair work on US 169 in Clay County.
Crews will close one lane along both northbound and southbound US 169 Highway between KK Highway and the Clinton County Line, from 7:30am until 5:30pm, daily, beginning Tuesday, March 29 and continuing until Friday, April 1 for pavement repair work.
A flagging operation will be in place to help direct traffic. A pilot car will also be utilized to help direct traffic in the work zone. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
