CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of a slope repair project in Clay County. All work is weather dependent.
Crews will close the southbound I-29 ramp to northbound I-35 from 9:30am until 1:30pm, Monday, March 28 for pavement marking work
Crews will close the southbound I-29 ramp to northbound I-35 from 9:30am until 6:00pm, Tuesday, March 29 for temporary barrier work
Crews will close the right lane of southbound I-29 past N. Oak Trafficway from 9:30am until 1:30pm, Monday March 28 and again from 9:30am until 6:00pm, Tuesday, March 29
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
