Andrew County Route RA to close tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation would like remind motorists and local residents that crews plan to close Andrew County Route RA on the northeast side of Honey Creek Conservation Area, just south of Interstate 29 Exit 65, tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 15. The road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to place a 96-inch diameter culvert.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure. It is important for your safety and for the safety of the workers involved that you do not move or go around the road closure signs and barricades.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by always buckling up, keeping your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones, and NEVER go around road closure signs or barricades. Know before you go and check what work zones you might encounter at traveler.modot.org.

Also at modot.org, sign up online for work zone updates. Information is also available 24/7 at 888-ASK-MODOT (275-6636) or via social media.
