SIKESTON—U.S. Route 61 in Cape County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews repair the bridge over Interstate 55. This is located near Exit 93 in Cape Girardeau.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Jan. 18 through Thursday, Jan. 20. The lane will be closed 24 hours a day.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
