Route 25 in Dunklin County Reduced for ADA Sidewalk Improvements

SIKESTON― Business Route 25 will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews improve sidewalks in Malden, Missouri. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

This section of roadway is located between Route J and West Main Street.

Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, Jan. 5 through Tuesday, March 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
