MoDOT to close Veterans Memorial Parkway for message sign replacement

Closure between South Point Prairie and Hepperman Roads

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Drivers traveling on Veterans Memorial Parkway near the city of Wentzville could encounter delays as crews close a one-mile section of Veterans Memorial Parkway to replace a dynamic message sign (DMS) next to eastbound Interstate 70.

The section of Veterans Memorial Parkway will be closed between South Point Prairie Road and Hepperman Road on Tuesday, December 21 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All work is weather permitting.

All I-70 lanes will remain open during the outer road closure.

Westbound traffic on Veterans Memorial Parkway can use Hepperman Road, Route N and South Point Prairie Road to detour around the closure. Eastbound Veterans Memorial Parkway drivers can detour to the new David Hoekel Parkway interchange via Interstate Drive.
