ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Holt County Route E opened ahead of schedule under Interstate 29 after a project to paint the bridge girders. Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation closed Route E under the I-29 overpass on the morning of Monday, Nov. 29 and expected the project to continue through Dec. 13. Work is complete and crews were able to reopen the roadway earlier today.
