ST. LOUIS – Drivers who plan to travel I-44 through Eureka should be aware of 15-minute complete closures scheduled this weekend between Allenton Road and Viaduct Street. On Sunday, December 12, between midnight and 5 a.m. utility crews will close all lanes of traffic eastbound or westbound for up to 15 minutes.
During the closures, utility crews will remove powerlines that cross the interstate. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes or give themselves extra time to drive through this area during this work as the full closures will happen at various times.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:
- I-270, St. Louis County, one lane of Dunn Road between Old Halls Ferry and New Halls Ferry closed.
- I-270, St. Louis County, one lane of Dunn Road at Washington/Elizabeth to Hanley/Graham closed until fall.
- I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound and westbound Pershall Road is closed at Coldwater Creek until 2022.
- I-270, St. Louis County, one lane of Pershall between West Florissant and Knollstone Drive will be closed until May 2022. Westbound traffic will no longer be able to use this section of Pershall.
- Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound ramp to westbound I-270 closed till mid-2022.
- Route 67, St. Louis County, the ramp from northbound to eastbound Route 340 is closed through mid-2022.
- Route 340, St. Louis County, ramp from northbound Lindbergh to eastbound and westbound Route 340 closed through mid-2022.
